Flooding downpours and severe storms extend from the Ohio Valley to the northern Gulf Coast.the rain that has already fallen, an area of three to eight inches of rain will stretch from Mississippi and Alabama, through Tennessee, into the Ohio Valley during the remainder of the weekend and into Monday. It is not out of the question for another part of the region to pick up a foot of rain.
