Tornadoes ripping through central Arkansas killed at least one person and injured about two dozen others Friday, and more bad weather was possible Saturday, authorities said. About two dozen people were hurt during the storms, but local officials who reported the deaths and injuries to the state agency did not immediately release the severity of the injuries or details about how the individuals were hurt.

The oil spill area is growing in the Gulf of Mexico, and with winds shifting by the weekend, slick oil could move closer to the Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi shores. Mary Yoon has the details.(AccuWeather)

This morning was quite warm and a little breeze, that made the morning perfect. Any apperal could have been wearn considering that the weather was suitable for all attire. The sun was up earlier than on Tuesday, which would explain the perfect warmth this morning. The high for to day was 85R and the low was 67F.
